Annibale Carracci - Paintings

Annibale Carracci, who originated from a renowned family of artists, was an Italian painter and engraver and was considered a pioneer of the Baroque.
Born on November 03, 1560 in Bologna.
Died on July 15, 1609 in Rome.
Annibale Carracci was one of the founders of the Accademia degli Incamminati. His work is convincing by the accuracy of drawing, the Venetian colors and the harmonic and clear naturalness of his figures in connection with the landscape. By the painting of the ceiling of the Farnese Gallery with scenes from mythological context, Annibale Carracci became an idol for the subsequent Baroque painters.
