Luca Giordano - Peintures
Luca Girodano (surnommé Luca Fà-presto) est un artiste italien du Baroque, connu en tant que peintre et décorateur de fresque.
Né le 18/10/1634 à Naples.
Mort le 03/01/1705 à Naples.
Luca Giordano, connu avant tout pour son style tardif inspiré de Pierre de Cortone, réalise d’une part des peintures murales et des tableaux à l’huile, qui témoignent de son ingéniosité, d’autre part des décorations de fresques caractérisées par le mouvement rythmique des personnages et l’expression des couleurs. Invité par Charles II d’Espagne à séjourner dans son pays, Luca Giordano réalise, de 1697 à 1700, la fresque du plafond de la sacristie de la cathédrale de Tolède. Son style élégant et sa peinture légère feront de lui un modèle pour les peintres vénitiens de la fin du 18ème siècle. 		Luca Giordano
