Eugène Boudin - Peintures
Eugène Boudin (13 juillet 1824, Honfleur – 08 août 1898, Deauville), peintre français représentant des débuts de l´impressionnisme, il est souvent désigné comme un peintre de marines. L´œuvre d´Eugène Boudin se compose essentiellement de vues maritimes et de scènes de plages poétiques sous des ciels changeants peints dans divers tons de gris. Ses contemporains Gustave Courbet et Jean-François Millet avec lesquels il se lie d´amitié à l´occasion de plusieurs expositions qu´il organise dans son commerce de papeterie s´accordent à lui reconnaître une sensibilité particulière pour le rendu de la lumière et l´élaboration d´ambiances mélancoliques. Dans les salons de l´époque on apprécie ses œuvres pour la fraîcheur de leurs coloris et l´exactitude du dessin. Eugene Boudin
