Orazio Gentileschi - Paintings

Orazio Gentileschi (actually called Orazio Gentileschi Lomi) is considered one of the most important Caravaggists of Italy.
Born 1563 in Pisa.
Died on February 07, 1639 in London.
Orazio Gentileschi, who originated from a family of artists, is educated in the sense of Florentine Mannerism. After a stay in Rome as a fresco painter, from 1600 onwards, he established a name for himself with his altar and panel paintings. He found towards his own unique balanced style in coloring and composition, combining Caravaggio's painting style with the Tuscan style of composition. From 1626, he worked as a painter at the court of King Charles in England.
