Paul Cezanne - Paintings

Paul Cézanne, ancestor for the styles of Cubism, Fauvism and Expressionism, is considered as the most prominent French painters of the 20th century.
Born on January 19, 1839 in Aix-en-Provence.
Died on October 22, 1906 in Aix-en-Provence.
Based on Impressionism, Paul Cézanne developed his very own, revolutionary style. He painted still lifes and landscape paintings. In doing so, his focus is on color, which is able to highlight an object firmly from the others without using light and shadow or sharp contours. Paul Cézanne subjected his compositions to a strong geometric order of forms and shades by which he decisively changed the prevailing habits of seeing and painting.
