Frank Duveneck was an important American sculptor and painter. He is considered a forerunner of Impressionism.
Born on October 09, 1848 in Covington, Kentucky.
Died on January 03, 1919 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Frank Duveneck completed his artistic education at the Munich Academy. He trained his abilities by traveling to Italy, France and the United States of America. With his portraits and landscape paintings, he is considered an important forerunner of Impressionism. From 1900 on, he worked as a professor at the Art Academy of Cincinnati.		 Frank Duveneck
