Fabio Fabbi, who is regarded as the most important painter of Oriental paintings, was an Italian sculptor, illustrator and painter of around 1900.

Fabio Fabbi, whose brother Alberto was also active as an artist, completed a normal study of art in Florence and Bologna. Both academies made him an honorary member and president. Fabbi primarily painted oriental subjects with great success. From 1890, he added portraits and genre in Art Nouveau style. As he worked as a sculptor for 10 years, he also knew how to deal with bronze and later, he made several medals and other items from this material. He also worked as an illustrator for various newspapers and illustrated over a hundred Italian books.
